Traffic Rule Violators In Bhopal: Despite shelling out the hefty penalties, the city residents can be seen flouting the traffic rules at all major city roads. Two-wheeler riders without wearing helmets or four-wheeler drivers without seat belts can be normally spotted in the city. Senior traffic cops maintained that people should follow traffic rules for their own safety and the safety of others.

Sagar Institute of Science and Technology (SISTec) Bhopal conducted Road safety and cyber-crime awareness drive with MP Police and Bhopal Traffic Police. Over 400 students of first-year batch of BTech participated in this workshop. The workshop witnessed the presence of Chief Guest Additional DCP

ACP (traffic) Basant Kaul and his team stopped many buses near Star Square and other places.

Drive carried out in Maharani Road, Siyaganj and Patthar Godown Road

During the drive, the drivers of Tata Magic, van and other public transport vehicles were warned to stop or park their vehicles on their lane and not on the road to take passengers.

The drive was launched following complaints that many of the modified silences produced sound of firecrackers that startled and irritated other commuters.

In the orders issued by DIG Kapooria, the police officers from sub-inspector rank till constable rank were reshuffled.
