The Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) in Borno State has suspended its President, Baana Lawan Ja'afar over alleged diversion of 13 Hilux Toyota vehicles given to the organization by the Borno State Government and the NNPC Limited for operational purposes.

The suspension was announced by Malam Bashir Abbas, the group’s Auditor General, at a news conference in Maiduguri.
