BCD Group and Maiwir India have formed a joint venture to utilize futuristic technologies and building infrastructure modeling for real estate projects in Bengaluru, offering an accelerated construction speed to clients. Through this partnership, BCD aims to develop over 100 million square feet of real estate over the next 5 years as it looks to strengthen its order book.

The residential real estate sector in India has experienced a rebound, with high demand and sales volume reaching its second-highest point in nearly a decade during H1 2023. Bengaluru and Mumbai saw sales nearing decade-high levels, with an increase in demand for homes costing Rs 1 crore and above. The influx of MNCs to Bengalurus tech hub is expected to impact potential new developments in the residential segment.

The firm has ventured into development management of residential projects and plotted development by providing last-mile funding. "We have a development management mandate for ₹500 crore and expect to double it by March," said Gopalan. ArisUnitern plans to invest ₹25-30 crore per project across markets like Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad. "We plan to focus on southern markets and later foray into Mumbai too," he added.

BCD Group, a prominent construction and design company in India, has achieved more than Rs 1,000 crore worth of projects in the first quarter of FY24, up by 30% from the previous year. Some of the key projects are residential and commercial development from builders, including Assetz Group, Salarpuria Sattva, Puravankara and Century Group.
