Bolstered by a rise in voter turnout, both referenda on the 2023 ASUC ballot passed Friday night and secured funds for public transportation and the Graduate Assembly.

For the sixth time in campus history, students will be able to vote on the Class Pass Renewal Referendum in the upcoming spring 2023 ASUC election cycle. 

Between the pain of driving in Berkeley and the wonderful, free Clipper card bestowed to every student, riding buses is my main form of transportation. But even now, in my last year on campus, I’m still learning about new routes.

Northside is the most populated area of North Berkeley, yet some residents have expressed that its public transportation is inadequate.

The last thing anyone wants is to be late to lecture because you couldn’t figure out a good way to get to your classroom on time.

Bear Transit will begin updated night and daytime routes ahead of the fall 2022 semester, according to the campus parking and transportation website.
