The owners of the Melbourne cafe that charged Peter Williams a $1 fee to heat up his $7 muffin said it was a mistake, but Mr Williams is not so sure.

ModaMortgages has hired a head of sales and two business development directors at the soon-to-launch buy-to-let broker-only lender.   It has appointed Scott Phillips as head of sales, while Becki Fraser-Tucker becomes senior business development manager and Bec Murray joins as a business development manager.
