Residents in Skykomish have been asked to prepare to leave on short notice.

Changing weather patterns have increased the threat of the Bolt Creek Fire. The fire has gone from 96% contained down to just 7% contained.

Level 2 evacuations were issued for areas in Skykomish as firefighters continue to tackle the Bolt Creek Fire, which has now burned more than 10,000 acres.
