Fanatic! June is here and so are the frogs. So glad to have them back.

An incredible array of live music at D.C., Maryland and Northern Virginia concert halls, clubs and theaters for every taste.

The forefathers and foremothers of D.C.’s groundbreaking hardcore punk scene are reuniting in a weekend of music, picnics and community at a concert series called “Reunion Summer” — but it’s not a traditional reunion.

The celebration of D.C. music returns, Awesome Con celebrates 10 years, a new book on Inner Ear Studios, Waco Brothers, Protomartyr, and a well-curated lineup of big names at Re:SET.

There have been a bunch of bands called Lincoln over the years, but the one that’s most relevant to our interests right now is the one that formed in Morgantown, West Virginia in 1992. That Lincoln only lasted for maybe two years, and they only released a few 7″ EPs, but they were still a foundational band in the post-hardcore world.
