Various hospital equipment valued at US$1.8 million (BZ$3.6 million) was officially handed over from Belizean-Americans in the Los Angeles, California area through Edward and Patricia Lord, generous donors from the Belizean diaspora, and Build Belize Inc., to the Ministry of Health and Wellness, supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Diaspora Relations.
