As the new year starts, so does the second half of the school year. It will be the final semester for high school seniors before they venture out into the real world; some will join the workforce, and others will go on to college.

Good Dads Inc., a Springfield nonprofit, has launched a weekly blog for 2024 called Growing Good Dads. Which is better than groaning at dad jokes.

Texas County students are eligible for scholarships through the Community Foundation of the Ozarks.

The CFO holds about 480 scholarship funds that will provide nearly 1,000 scholarships for students across the Springfield area for the 2023–24 year.
