More than $300,000 has been secured in the newly adopted state budget to advance after-school programming at the Bethel Public Library and Danbury Youth Services. The funding is channeled through the state’s Judicial Branch Support Services and Youth Violence Prevention program. It’s aimed at bolstering the library’s services, increase its resources, and provide a more enriching experience for area youth.
Winners were selected by members of Bethel Arts, and each winner will receive 25 copies of their bookmark and a $25 gift certificate.Runners-up will receive $10 gift certificates. Alice expressed her thanks with an enthusiastic nod to everyone who made the contest so successful.
