In his new Fritztrainer on the French Defence, he passes on his knowledge. Yuri Averbakh is no more. Tributes are pouring in from all over the world to the late grandmaster, who had only recently turned 100 and chess fans had celebrated the day. Among ChessBase products the Big DataBase stands in its own right. Unlike the MegaBase it has no annotations.
