Seton Hall’s ‘Mamu’ shares Big East Player of the Year honors in historic 3-way split

When Sandro Mamukelashvili first arrived at Seton Hall as a freshman, he dreamed of one day being considered the league’s best player.
“Coming in as a freshman, I used to look at the top players and I said to myself, ‘One day I will be that top player that everybody talks about, who everybody puts on the scouting report,’” he said on a recent Zoom call in response to a question from NJ Advance Media.
Now “Mamu” has reached one of his dreams.
