Bihar Train Engine Theft News Today

In Darbhanga district, Bihar, an entire pond mysteriously vanished and a hut was build on it overnight. The accused land mafia, allegedly filling the pond to seize the land, had fled before the police arrived. The pond, formerly community-owned, became a target due to rising land prices.

The Railways on Saturday said that seven people have been arrested in connection with the theft of spare parts of an engine from a yard in Bihar and "95 per cent of the stolen items have been recovered".
