Vehicle tried to ram the entrance to the base this morning. Cbs news reports that two men in the vehicle who tried to get on the fort meade campus were dressed as women at the time. Scott is life with the latest developments of what seems to be a bizarre case, scott. Reporter well, the fbi is telling us they do not believe it is terrorism related, but as you report, it certainly is bizarre. We have confirmed from a local source these two were men dressed as women complete withwigs and bras trying to get through the gate this morning. It appears two people in a dark ford escape suv were confronted at the gate and some how attempted to force their way through, they were turned around at a secondary barrier, their car collided with a Law Enforcement vehicle here on campus. There was gunfire, one of the people in the suv, a man dressed as a woman was killed. The other was injured, we know at least one Law Enforcement officer was injured as well.
