A wild day out there. Reporter theres right. The wind moved across the field like nothing they had seen before. It lifted canopies right up. The fundraiser ended early to make sure everyone stays safe. A big cyclone that started on one end and swept through everything. Cell phones captured the swirling wind and what it left behind. Canopies that were staked and other items lifted and tossed. Starting throwing furniture, tables, chairs and tents. Reporter the relay for life was in full swing where hundreds gathered when the wind sent people running for cover. As the wind calmed down, First Responders came. The Santa Clara County jail. And it has just been released. Take a good look here. The Sheriffs Office says the fight broke out this afternoon in the maximum security housing unit of the downtown san jose jail. We first told you about the melee on abc 7 news at 4 00. The unit is still in lockdown mode this evening. Inmates are being ordered to stay in their cells. Sheriff laurie smith says no guards were hurt trying to break up this fight. And she just told us that its a coincidence that the fight happened in this part of the jail where she had just put in new security cameras and had them installed yesterday. But thats where we installed the cameras. We dont have cameras in any of the other housing areas, and they only went in last night. Its interesting that it happened here. Outside the jail this afternoon, we saw hazmat crews as they were called in to help clean off blood from the floor where the fighting broke out.
