A two-day music festival in the heart of Mexia, Texas will help raise funds for the historic restoration of the home of legendary songwriter Cindy Walker.

Beginning Thursday, April 27 through Saturday, April 29, this small town in the Panhandle will be filled with dancers and fiddlers and families ready to enjoy what Texas Monthly called a must attend event for any Texan.

The western swing music event will be held Friday, Sept. 9 and Saturday, Sept. 10 at the First Financial Pavilion, 50 E. 43rd St.
