There were honors for a firefighter who suffered a deadly head injury during training.

The firefighter fell 20 feet during a training accident in Brooklyn last month.

The heart of FDNY firefighter Billy Moon, who died last year, was donated to 63-year-old Richard Grehl.

"It feels like, when I would take naps right next to my dad, and it feels like I was right next to him because when I was doing it, I heard his heart beat,"

Firefighters gathered Friday morning on Randall's Island to save lives through a blood donation drive in honor of fallen FDNY Firefighter Billy Moon.
