Under the new ownership, Basic City's Manchester spot will operate more as a restaurant and bar, and will no longer be brewing beer onsite.

Lee Gregory and Bobo Catoe are planning a restaurant like Odyssey Fish, which they opened this year in Manchester’s Hatch Local food hall.

Lee Gregory said he and Bobo Catoe are still working out what exactly their West End restaurant will be.

“It’s just surprising, a lot of people that come to a brewery don’t necessarily want beer,” said Intermission Beer Co. owner Courtney White.

“We’d outgrown that space, mainly from the frozen pizza perspective. That part of the business has taken off and I’ve been unable to meet the demand from there,” said owner Billy Fallen.

Billy Fallen used the Patterson location as both a pizzeria that sold hot pizza to go, as well as a headquarters for his wholesale frozen pizza business.

Billy Fallen owns the new venture at 4 N. Thompson St. along with Ellwood’s owner Rick Hood and former Dutch & Co. co-owner Caleb Shriver.
