Tributes have been paid to Fr. Eddie Lalor SPS, St Patrick’s Missionary Society, Kiltegan, who died peacefully at St Vincent’s Hospital, with his sister and niece at his bedside.

THE St Patrick’s Missionary Society pass on their sympathies to the family and friends of Fr Seán Rynn, who died peacefully on March 16 in the St Patrick’s Care Unit in Kiltegan.

Together with the assistance he gave Auckland city authorities during the great influenza epidemic, Bishop Henry Cleary's wartime service led to his being awarded the OBE in June, 1919 wrote Nicholas Reid.

A commemorative flight marking the centenary of the first flight of pioneering New Zealand aviator George Bolt and Auckland Bishop Henry William Cleary went off without a hitch on March 12.
