A century a lot of residents are left wondering whats being done . Milwaukee mayor tom barrett telling the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel the city will hire more officers and police will get more funds. In the article, barrett wouldnt give specifics but said the Police Department budget will be significantly larger than this years budget, and well be funding multiple classes of new officers. Alderman bob donovan agrees with upping the police force.
