Philly's Middle Child and Darnel's Cakes competed to represent Philly in the United States of Breakfast competition held by "Good Morning America." The show visited South Philly on Friday for a contest judged former Eagle Jon Runyan, restaurateur Michael Solomonov and 6ABC anchor Alicia Vitarelli. Middle Child advanced to Friday's final round in New York City with its pastrami, egg and cheese sandwich on rye bread.

NONI, a size-inclusive clothing and art shop, will open at the Bok Building in South Philadelphia on Saturday, July 22. The shop will focus on providing vintage clothes in sizes ranging from 6X to extra small in addition to selling art prints, books, vinyl records, home goods and other accessories.

The Bok Building is throwing its 7th annual street festival later this month. On Sunday, June 25, from noon to 4 p.m. on Mifflin Street between 8th and 9th streets, the seasonal eatery is throwing a bash for the community that will include vendors, food trucks, live music, and arts and crafts during the B[L]OK PARTY.
