The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education has proposed the introduction of a preparatory course for Class 10 students interested in pursuing the new subjects of Applied Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security at the higher secondary level.

The syllabus of the two existing subjects modern computer application and computer science have been upgraded to keep them relevant and contemporary.
