Pepsi Bottling Ventures LLC, which has more than 550 employees in Winston-Salem, has disclosed a data breach affecting the personal information of its 2,300 workforce in five states.

The stolen information includes personal information of employees, including financial account information, state and federal government-issued ID numbers, driver’s license numbers, ID cards, social security numbers, and digital signatures.

Pepsi Bottling Ventures, which is part-owned by PepsiCo, has disclosed a data breach caused by a network intrusion, which led to the installation of data-stealing malware and exfiltration of personal and financial information from the company's IT systems.
