The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has handed over 185 computers, 1,680 tablets, and other IT equipment to the Rwanda Basic Education Board (REB) with a view to enhance access to equitable quality education in refugee and host community schools.

The situation is "under control" following the eruption of a volcano in the Democratic Republic of Congo, President Felix Tshisekedi says after his government mistakenly announced another volcano had erupted.
