Catawba College in Salisbury, North Carolina, says it has cut energy-related emissions on campus and is now carbon neutral, in part by claiming credits for investments in clean energy elsewhere.

North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper was on the campus of Catawba College in Salisbury on Thursday to help local leaders announce that the school successfully achieved full carbon neutrality seven years ahead of its 2030 climate commitment.
