You couldn’t blame the Helias Crusaders if they were looking backward. Last Friday night, the Crusaders came within a play of rallying for a win against Class 5 No. 1 Cardinal Ritter in St. Louis. But it was full-focus forward. It’s Rock Bridge week.
For the second consecutive year, the Capital City Cavaliers’ undefeated start to the season ends with Rock Bridge. The Bruins jumped ahead early and made the stop they needed late to hold off Capital City’s comeback attempt for a 38-28 Central Missouri Activities Conference win Friday at Capital City High School.
