The city of Chattanooga held a youth gun violence summit Friday morning. The summit was held at the Brainerd Crossroads facility.

As the first work on phase 2 of the $161 million Interstate 75/Interstate 24 split project nears, state officials have planned three informational meetings this week, where residents in Brainerd, East Brainerd and East Ridge can learn details on the early steps.

The planned improvements for Phase II of the interchange at Interstate 75 and Interstate 24 in Hamilton County will have an impact on traffic, TDOT said.
