Peel Regional Police say a man has died after a shooting in Brampton on Friday morning.

Peel Regional Police said emergency crews were called to Main Street South and Queen Street at 1:27 p.m. Tuesday.

Two children were seriously injured in incidents at a home daycare in Brampton, leading to criminal negligence charges being laid against a caregiver, police say. 

An arrest has been made after a social worker sexually assaulted a victim at shelter in Brampton, police say. 

Peel Regional Police said the incident occurred around 2:20 a.m. Sunday. The pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries and remains in critical condition.
