Plans to demolish a 162-year-old Victorian building and replace it with a two-storey children’s amusement arcade at Bray seafront have been approved by An Bord Pleanála (ABP), with conditions, despite appeals by residents over the loss of “an intrinsic element of the iconic image of Bray Seafront”.

Bray Lions Club distributed some €8,500 generated by the annual New Year’s Day charity sea swim among four local charities at a ceremony in The Martello, Bray, on Thursday, February 22.

If you fancy a purpose built stall right at the centre of the action at Bray Seafront to sell your wares, then Bray Municipal District is seeking applicants to take over the kiosks which dot the promenade.
