The Fairfax County Planning Commission is taking up zoning recommendations for data centers at a public hearing Wednesday night.

Data Center Zoning Policy To Be Updated By Fairfax County Board - Reston, VA - Fairfax County Board of Supervisors agreed to move forward with a plan to update the county's zoning ordinance in regard to data centers.

Residents in Alexandria, Virginia want supervisors to change by-right laws in Fairfax County so public input is required for all data center proposals.

Some neighbors are concerned about noise surrounding the data center development.
