this fire burned about 100 acres. it charred 100 acres ever land and fire crews had to evacuate visitors of adam rock park which is up the road from where we re standing. we re hearing it s 40% contained but that percentage could be changed. this is a hilly rural area and fire crews are trying to stabilize that situation overnight. this is dry land. the new grass is providing plenty of fuel. this is considered a high threat area. once crews arrived on tuesday, they realized they would need more help and resources. santa cal fire was attacking it from the air dropping water and retardant. cal fire was cutting lines in an effort to move the fire away from structures and into open spaces. they talked about the conditions and neighbors watching the fire fight talked about how quickly these flames were moving. it s not uncommon for us to see this kind of condition if the bay area and in the afternoon it has been warm where we get a breeze. that s the importance of making sure
