Recently, nearly three dozen Health First associates were notified that their applications for 2023 Nursing Scholarships were approved. One was Vanessa Rodriguez, a Certified Medical Assistant working at the ENT and Audiology office at Health First’s Gateway Medical Plaza.

The Brevard Indo-American Medical & Dental Association, a Brevard County not-for-profit medical and dental association, recently donated $25,000 to endow a scholarship that will benefit students in Brevard Public Schools. Brevard Schools Foundation announced The BIMDA Scholarship is in honor of Dr. Mukesh Aggarwal, right, and Dr. Mahesh Soni.

The Eastern Florida State College Foundation has been awarded a $25,000 donation from the Brevard Indo-American Medical and Dental Association that will fund an endowed scholarship for dental studies. “We are very pleased to select Eastern Florida State College as a steward for scholarships in Dental Studies,” said Glad Kurian, Founder and Honorary Executive Director, BIMDA.

The Health First Foundation received $25,000 to create the Brevard Indo-American Medical and Dental Association (BIMDA) Nursing Scholarship Fund in honor of Glad Kurian, BIMDA Founder and Honorary Executive Director, and Dr. Gobivenkata Balaji, Health First Foundation Board Member.
