Maulick Pancholy, known for his “30 Rock" and "Weeds" fame, is set to give an anti-bullying assembly Wednesday at Mountain View Middle School.

The Cumberland Valley School District has unanimously appointed a new board member. The decision comes after an early evening meeting that took place on May 20.

During a special meeting Wednesday, the Cumberland Valley School Board voted 5-4 to overturn its previous decision to cancel a guest speaker.

With budget concerns on their mind, some school board members were hesitant to vote on Mondays agenda items without clarification on how they will be funded.

Proposed revisions also would allow the recognition of several students with weighted grade point averages at graduation rather than only two.
