Jones Studio has designed an educational centre in Arizona with the aim of raising awareness about water resources and infrastructure in the region.

Phoenix-based architecture firm Jones Studio will design the Water Education Center for Central Arizona Project (CAP)—a 336-mile aqueduct system that delivers Colorado River water to almost 6 million people, more than 80% of the state’s population. The Center will allow the public to explore CAP’s history, operations, and impact on Arizona.

Click on the “Submit” button of a category that you are interested in, and create a login to proceed. Entry fees vary by category. The initial deadline is 5 p.m. Arizona time Tuesday, July 12, with a $50 additional fee for entries thereafter through the final extended deadline Monday, July 18.
