Two former Davenport administrative employees have filed suit against the city for releasing letters they say the city promised would be kept confidential.

In a letter released as part of a record request, Davenport’s former city administrator claims she was terminated in late November while on leave under a separation agreement.

Brandon Westmoreland, a 27-year-old car salesman, is collecting signatures to run for the Davenport office and held a campaign launch party over the weekend.
