Air Force declines to name Wright-Patterson lab after late Army officer, engineer
Despite encouragement from Ohio lawmakers, the Air Force has declined to memorialize a lab on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in honor of late contractor and Army Col. William Cavanaugh, who helped design the lab.
