This spring the University of Minnesota Morris will welcome Mara Adamitz Scrupe as its Distinguished Visiting Professor in the Liberal Arts.  Scrupe serves as dean and professor emerita, University of the Arts, Philadelphia in addition to writing poetry and essays, making artist books, drawings, environmental public art installations and documentary films, and she teaches and lectures in creative writing and the visual arts.

Three champions of racial justice spoke on advancing racial equity on Oct. 26 in Riggs Library, the first in a series of panel discussions hosted by the Georgetown Racial Justice Institute.
