died. it was anything but a typical super bowl. but team work. we had fun watching the game. i was following everybody on twitter watching it. our kids thought we were having a party, it was just the five of us. they were getting ready all day. we had a split house. mckenna was broncos fan and my son taylor let me get this straight. you have a doll that had a favorite team yesterday? yes. and this is the highlight of my night. isiah, our four-year-old n an old school seahawks victory right there, fell asleep. i think he made it about 9:00 o clock. he could have stayed up late because today is a snow day for him. he s like, the seahawks have it. when you say hasselbeck style, you know tim always nods off in the fourth quarter. very typical of what he does. i got to tell you, what i thought was kind of interesting is i see a lot of the half time
predictions. now, earlier in the season i think we maybe back at the beginning of the season we had a prediction for the super bowl. this was back in september. you made a predib. let s see if it holds true. here s the tape. roll it. big question, right now as of now, who do you think is going to win the super bowl? wow. everybody says san francisco, i like atlanta. san francisco. really? i like atlanta and denver in the super bowl. oh, close, very close. and you thought atlanta would beat denver in the super bowl. who do you have today? i like i ve been going back and forth since even this morning. i like seattle. you like seattle. yes, i do. if you look around new york, as i was walking to the train yesterday, i saw one broncos fan. thousands of seattle fans walking through the city yesterday. they are excited. they are everywhere. and they are fired up. and i think it will be a big
estimates the attention has provided $10 million in free advertising for the city. first off, it s just plain fun to hear your city being talked about over and over again. that s todd simon. yes, there is a relation. he s my cousin and co-owner of omaha steaks, which has been in my family for generations. it was one of the companies that donated $100 each time peyton called out omaha. omaha shutouts generating almost $25,000. money going to manage foundation to help disadvantaged children. we ve been able to create a lot of extra buzz and do something great at the same time. for the super bowl, it s now up to 17 companies. omaha s mayor says the attention has made her a broncos fan. we hope he will stay repeatedly in the super bowl and when he wins, he says he s going
stay with this internet retailer. a couple of fascinating stories this morning for the market. this is really cool going into super bowl weekend. we know there s millions on the line with advertisers spending for the super bowl ads. the festivities could show ads that are custom made for you. explain that one. this is either sinister or the greatest thing you ever wanted to happen to your mobile phone. clearly the advertisers have got your number here and whether you are a seahawks or a broncos fan, it is the advertisers who are going to win. they are through the nfl going to be putting micro transmitters around the event so if you re at the met life stadium, you might be getting some little personalized advertising messages and these are being sent by the transmitters. the advertisers, of course, say, well, this helps us get the message to the people who really want these products, but those on the other side of the story may say, well, is this an
everything. these helmets kind of gives the impact, distributes it equally around the brain. that s not so good. for our kids, the new one, this guardian cap, i like it a lot because it has about 37 foams on the outside. so it has the padding inside, but it also has it on the outside. jenna: guardian cap. that s a great one for kids because it s not heavier, it s not much bigger, but each one of those foams can absorb the force and not distribute it allover the brain. so that s a big advancement. and i think in the future we re probably going to see some more of these anticoncussion helmets in the pipeline. for now i wish both parties jenna: that s very balanced of you. you know jon is a broncos fan. we re a little partial. [laughter] dr. samadi, thank you very much. jon: we re rooting for wes welker in particular. jenna: that s right. easy on those pizzas. jon: speaking of the super bowl, we are sure to see pregame rituals leading up to sunday.
