Brooklyn subway shooting: New York Police name 62-year-old Frank James as person of interest - The suspect had opened smoke grenades on the train and fired his gun 33 times, striking at least 10 people Tuesday morning.

The suspect arrested for shooting 10 people on the New York subway has been charged with a federal terror offense and could face life in prison, authorities said Wednesday.

Several people were shot at in a subway station in New York's Brooklyn today. People tweeted photos showing commuters with blood on their clothes being helped by others, as they sat with their back to a metro train. At least 16 were injured.
