Contained a fire at an abandoned warehouse. This video behind me is of the scene into our newsroom. The fire started before 5 30 this morning on east 12th street and 29th avenue. In the ferocious fight against the flames, the roof and the walls collapsed. Luckily, nobody got hurt. Firefighters tell us because of the unhoused population often in that area, they are familiar with the building. This building has been boarded up and you can tell by the graffiti and stuff, it has been abandoned for a while. We were out here a month ago for a fire.
