Woman thrown from car in Bruce Highway crash

Premium Content Subscriber only UPDATE 6.10PM: A woman thrown from her car has been taken to Mackay Base Hospital following a two-vehicle crash on the Bruce Highway south of Bloomsbury. A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said she was being treated for abdomen, leg and arm pain. The spokeswoman said the second woman was being taken to Proserpine Hospital and being treated for minor head injuries and chest pain. Both women are reported to be in a stable condition. Emergency services were called to the scene at 4.08pm. INITIAL 4.08PM: A woman in her 20s was reportedly thrown from her car after a two-vehicle crash on the Bruce Highway south of Bloomsbury.

Three critically injured in Morayfield Bruce Hwy crash

Paramedics have rushed six people to various hospitals after a nasty crash on the Bruce Highway at Morayfield. One of the patients was a women who was being taken in a critical condition to Sunshine Coast University Hospital with chest and abdominal injuries. Two others were being taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women s Hospital in critical conditions with head and chest injuries. A man in his 50s was taken to Caboolture Hospital in a serious condition with chest injuries. Two others were taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in stable conditions. Queensland Ambulance Services senior operations supervisor Glen Morrison said 13 crews responded to the incident.

Car blocks Bruce Highway after two-vehicle collision

Premium Content Subscriber only Motorists on the Bruce Highway north of Mackay are warned of possible delays as emergency services clear the scene of a crash. Two cars reportedly collided on the Bruce Highway near Knobels Rd about 5.30pm. The occupants of the vehicles are believed to have escaped uninjured but one of the cars is blocking a lane. Queensland Fire and Emergency Services and police crews are en route to the incident where it is understood a vehicle was leaking fluid on the roadway. One vehicle, a ute, has been loaded on a tow truck but a blue sedan remained in the middle of the highway.
