SUNDERLAND – The Selectboard has set the warning for Town Meeting, as well as budgets reflecting increased expenses in materials and labor for the towns highway department.

There are mounting concerns that livestock left to roam around Old Howick Road as well as parts of Townhill and Sweetwaters could result in devastating accidents.

There are concerns about the high rate of accidents caused by livestock on the R617, between Merrivale and Boston, outside Howick.
