Four men have charged with offences including arson, participating in an organised crime group, and a dangerous act with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Methamphetamine and cash were also seized at a Christchurch property.
All four are due to appear in court tomorrow.

A Whangārei house occupied at the time was the target of a drive-by shooting last Friday evening.
No-one inside the house was injured during the shooting that occurred on Brunner Terrace in Kamo around 6.30pm on May 7. Police have today made the shooting public and are appealing for help.

Police are investigating a drive-by shooting near Whangārei.
At about 6:30pm on Friday, a house on Brunner Terrace, Kamo, Whangārei was the subject of a drive-by shooting, Acting Detective Senior Sergeant Aaron Crawford says.
People were inside the house at the time, but no one was injured.
"Shortly afterwards a stolen white Toyota Hiace van was found well ablaze at the end of Lewis St in Kamo. Police are also investigating this vehicle arson and believe it may be linked."
Police are seeking sightings of the van with registration CEA315. It was stolen from Pataua North on Friday afternoon prior to the Brunner Terrace incident.

Whangarei Police are investigating a firearms incident which occurred around 6.30pm on Friday 7th May 2021 in Kamo, Whangarei.
A house on Brunner Terrace was the subject of a drive-by shooting.
The property was occupied at the time however there were no reports of any injuries.
Shortly afterwards a stolen white Toyota Hiace van was found well ablaze at the end of Lewis Street in Kamo.
Police are also investigating this vehicle arson and believe it may be linked.

A house has been shot at and a car set on fire in Kamo, north of Whangārei. The incidents, which are believed to be linked, are being investigated by police. On May 7, about 6.30pm, a house on Brunner Terrace in Kamo was shot at, acting detective senior sergeant Aaron Crawford said. People were in the house at the time, but no injuries were reported. Crawford said shortly after the shooting, a stolen white Toyota Hiace van was found “well ablaze” at the end of Lewis St in Kamo.
