A Whangārei house occupied at the time was the target of a drive-by shooting last Friday evening.
No-one inside the house was injured during the shooting that occurred on Brunner Terrace in Kamo around 6.30pm on May 7. Police have today made the shooting public and are appealing for help.

Police are investigating a drive-by shooting near Whangārei.
At about 6:30pm on Friday, a house on Brunner Terrace, Kamo, Whangārei was the subject of a drive-by shooting, Acting Detective Senior Sergeant Aaron Crawford says.
People were inside the house at the time, but no one was injured.
"Shortly afterwards a stolen white Toyota Hiace van was found well ablaze at the end of Lewis St in Kamo. Police are also investigating this vehicle arson and believe it may be linked."
Police are seeking sightings of the van with registration CEA315. It was stolen from Pataua North on Friday afternoon prior to the Brunner Terrace incident.
As stated by Acting Detective Senior Sergeant Aaron Crawford, Whangarei CIB:
Whangarei Police are investigating a firearms incident which occurred around 6.30pm on Friday 7th May 2021 in Kamo, Whangarei.
A house on Brunner Terrace was the subject of a drive-by shooting.
The property was occupied at the time however there were no reports of any injuries.
Shortly afterwards a stolen white Toyota Hiace van was found well ablaze at the end of Lewis Street in Kamo.
Police are also investigating this vehicle arson and believe it may be linked.
Police are seeking any sightings of the Toyota Hiace van, registration CEA315, which was stolen from Pataua North on the afternoon of Friday 7th May prior to incident in Brunner Terrace.

A hushed residential cul-de-sac where Whangārei locals kept to themselves was the unexpected scene of a drive-by shooting that has shocked the city's leader.
Whangārei Mayor Sheryl Mai was enormously grateful no one inside the house on Brunner Tce in Kamo was injured, or worse – killed, when it was targeted in a drive-by shooting believed to be gang-related around 6.30pm last Friday.
