OMEGA is accepting comments for proposals for the repurposing and transformation of Byesville Elementary

Byesville has gone through a period of growth over the past five years. While the growth is a positive thing, it does not come without challenges.

A moratorium on construction or installation of houses less than 850 square feet on the main floor was put into place by Byesville Village Council.

Plans include turning classrooms into shops, the cafeteria into a sit-down restaurant and the gymnasium as a youth sports center.

Country Bits has been highlighting local vendors and merchandise for 30 years. An open house will be held on Saturday will a raffle for Hospice.

Salvation Armys summer lunch program begins Monday Staff Report The Salvation Army’s Summer Sack Lunch program will begin its 23rd year next week. The program will follow the guidelines established last year due to COVID 19 restrictions and Federal SFPS Program requirements and serves students from Cambridge and Byesville Elementary and Middle schools.
