The Kansas Track and Field team strung together a series of dominant performances at this year's Kansas Relays, which were hosted by the Jayhawks out at Rock Chalk Park.

The Kansas Track and Field team will be competing at three meets on March 29-30, with the majority of the group headed to the LSU Battle on the Bayou in Baton Rouge, and a group of six distance runners splitting between the Stanford Invitational in Palo Alto, California and the Mike Fanelli Distance Classic in Hayward, California.

The Kansas men’s and women’s cross country teams competed in the 2023 Big 12 Cross Country Championship today. Both teams placed sixth overall and senior Chandler Gibbens placed 11th, earning him an All-Big 12 selection.

The Kansas men’s and women’s cross country teams are taking a trip to Ames, Iowa to face off in the Big 12 Cross Country Championship this Saturday, Oct. 28, at the Iowa State Cross Country Course.

The Kansas men’s and women’s cross country teams competed at Pre-Nationals Invite in Charlottesville, Va this morning, as seniors Chandler Gibbens and Lona Latema led the way with top-five finishes.

The Kansas cross country team is ready to compete in the Pre-Nationals Invitational, hosted by the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va. on Saturday, Oct. 14.

Kansas totaled 11 personal records en route to a first-place team finish on the men’s side and a fourth-place team finish on the women’s side in the red division at the Woody Greeno/Jay Dirksen Invitational in Lincoln, Nebraska on Saturday.

Six Jayhawk personal-records and a podium sweep on the men’s side secured a first-place finish for the men and second-place finish for the women on Saturday morning at Rim Rock Farm.

The Big 12 Conference announced the 2023 Spring Academic All-Big 12 Team on Monday, with a total of 846 student-athletes earning the honor. Kansas had 81 student-athletes on the list, which recognizes the academic accomplishments of student-athletes at Conference institutions that participate in spring sports.

The Kansas track and field team saw various athletes make it onto the podium on the second day of the 2023 Outdoor Big 12 Championships.
