It was a good indication of what was to come in the Jays’ 79-37 victory against the No. 8 seed Capital City Cavaliers.

Winning the Central Missouri Activities Conference was a goal heading into the season for the Jefferson City Jays. Tuesday night, the Jays took a major step in that direction with a 68-47 victory at Fleming Fieldhouse against the Hickman Kewpies.
