One man was found shot outside of First Baptist Church on Monday night, according to MPD.

MPD says they responded to a shots fired call at 8:20 p.m. and found no injuries or property struck, and officers cleared the area.

MPD says the southeast Memphis shooting took place around 9:30 p.m. Monday.

More than 121,000 people were without power in Shelby County as of Tuesday evening

This marks the fourth deadly Memphis motorcycle crash in less than one week.

It happened just before 4 p.m. on Friday, April 28, 2023, near the main airport.

Shelby County deputies say they approached car theft suspects at around 7:30 p.m. in the Regions Bank parking lot near Union Avenue between Kimbrough and Cleveland.

MPD said a woman was shot on the 5900 block of Pebble Beach Avenue — not far from A.M. Wear Clothing store. She later died, according to Memphis police.

A vigil was held for the six victims killed in last Friday's shooting in Arkabutla, Mississippi.

MPD said the man was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, and the suspect fled the scene.
