Michael Miske Jr. allegedly headed a huge drug enterprise on Honolulu for decades, evading detection until his late son's best friend Jonathan Fraser was reported missing.

Prosecutors say Honolulu businessman Michael Miske Jr. headed a sprawling criminal conspiracy, funneling drug money through shell businesses and ordering the murder of his late son's best friend.

Alleged kingpin Michael Miske owned a business that bought used cars at auction, providing income, a way to launder drug money and rewards for criminal associates, prosecutors say.

A federal judge recently ordered prosecutors to make public dozens of search warrants and other documents in the conspiracy and murder trial of alleged crime boss Mike Miske.

A year before Mike Miske blamed Jonathan Fraser for the fatal car accident that killed Miske's son, he had Fraser beaten for stealing a gold Rolex, the agreement says. Miske is accused of later ordering Fraser's murder.

Mike Miske faces four charges related to murder, kidnapping and racketeering that could have resulted in capital punishment.
