Last Tuesday, December 15, the Nine Nights of Lights Organizing Committee turned on the lights at the Botanical Gardens, for the sixth year in a row. Amid fears of a coronavirus spread, a reasonable crowd of patrons flocked to the site to enjoy what was on offer.
The opening ceremony heard remarks from a number of persons, who not only welcomed patrons but also put persons’ minds at ease that the activity was a safe one to attend, with health protocols having been established throughout the venue. Patrons were urged to enjoy the programmes and the occasion.
